ABB CP555 is a high performance color touchscreen human-machine interface belonging to the CP500 series. It adopts a large size TFT color display and sturdy metal casing, delivering clear visual effect and stable running performance. It is fully compatible with ABB PLC products and supports communication with most mainstream third-party industrial controllers, suitable for monitoring and control of medium and large industrial automation systems.

CP stands for control panel. 555 represents the high-end model in the CP500 series, featuring large screen, powerful processing capacity and comprehensive communication interfaces.

It is equipped with a 10.4 inch TFT color LCD with 640 by 480 resolution and LED backlight. It uses four-wire resistive touch screen for operation. The device is driven by a 32-bit RISC processor, with 16 MB flash memory and 32 MB RAM. The power supply is 24 V DC with a tolerance of ±10 percent, and the typical operating current is 400 mA. The operating temperature ranges from 0 °C to 50 °C, storage temperature ranges from -20 °C to 70 °C, and relative humidity is kept between 20 percent and 90 percent without condensation. The front panel protection class is IP65 and the rear part is IP20. The overall weight is about 3 kg. A built-in battery provides backup power for real-time clock.

It is fitted with a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port which supports Modbus TCP and dedicated communication protocols. Two serial ports support RS232, RS422 and RS485 signals, and are compatible with Modbus RTU and ASCII protocols. A USB port is used for program upload, download and data storage. An optional CF card slot is available for extended data logging and recipe backup. The supporting configuration software is CP500 Soft.

It supports high resolution graphical display, trend curve viewing and data monitoring. It realizes multi-level alarm management and historical record storage. It has large capacity for recipe storage and management. It provides multi-language display and multi-level password protection to ensure system security.
