ABB CP435T is a 7-inch color TFT human-machine interface belonging to the CP400 series. It is fitted with resistive touch screen and physical function keys for local monitoring and operation of industrial equipment. With reliable performance and rich serial communication ports, it is widely used in local control scenarios and compatible with ABB controllers and most mainstream third-party automation devices.

CP means control panel. 435 stands for the 7-inch model in the CP400 series. T indicates the touchscreen version equipped with physical function keys.

This unit uses a 7-inch color TFT display with 64K colors and a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels, paired with resistive touch panel. It comes with one menu key and six customizable function keys. It adopts a 32-bit RISC processor, equipped with 32 MB flash memory, 8 MB RAM and 512 KB battery backed RAM. The power supply is 24 V DC with a tolerance of ±10 percent, and the typical operating current is below 0.8 A. The operating temperature ranges from 0 °C to 50 °C, storage temperature ranges from -10 °C to 60 °C, and relative humidity is 20 percent to 90 percent without condensation. The front panel features IP65 protection class and the rear side is IP20. The overall weight is approximately 1.2 kg. A built-in lithium battery maintains the real-time clock function after power outage.

It is equipped with three serial ports that support RS232, RS422 and RS485 signals and comply with Modbus RTU protocol. A USB port is available for program upload, download and data storage. A CF card slot is reserved for data logging and file backup. This model does not have Ethernet interface. The dedicated configuration software is CP400 Soft.
